A new tradition started

Anyone who knows my husband, knows that he LOVES golf and is looking forward to Andrew getting old enough to play a round of golf with him. Matter of fact, Andrew has owned a golf club since he was about 18 months and has been hitting wiffle balls around the back yard. Last year we attempted to take Andrew to "practice" putt at Sterling Golf Club...no luck. Andrew wanted to hit the ball with a full force golf swing instead of putting. We left with a screaming child about 10 minutes after we arrived. Friday afternoon, we decided to try the whole process again. This time we went to Algonkian Park Golf Course and to our surprise, our child was a perfect angel - putting and chipping as his father directed him to do. He liked it so much that he asked Colin to take him again last night before dinner...Colin is just over the moon that his son wants to hit the golf ball. Looks like I will have to brush up on my golf skills (have not played since I was pregnant with Andrew) or become a golf widow.
